I have been a medical transcriptionist since 1989. As a medical language expert, I interpret and transcribe dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, workup, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnosis, prognosis, etc., in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services. In doing so, I have learned much about researching diseases, symptoms and treatments. While I do not consider myself an expert in the field of diagnosing illness by any means, I do feel I have the knowledge to guide others in finding information they may be seeking.
